ORC Concrete Solutions was founded in 2008 and has served Colorado, the mountain west, and midwest ever since. We’re a small team of concrete restoration and repair professionals, led by owner Shannon Ozzello, who has more than 40 years in the concrete industry. Our company is best known for its craftsmanship, integrity, and grit. We provide solid solutions for your concrete repair and maintenance projects.

Most of that work is close to home, on parking structures, hospitals and stadiums across the Front Range. Some of it is not. That has taken us to Mount Rushmore and to a casino in Deadwood, South Dakota.

Our certifications

ORC’s owner and members of our crew have been certified through the Post-Tensioning Institute for more than 25 years, which is longer than ORC has been in business. Members of our crew are certified at Level 1 and Level 2. Level 2 is the higher of the two, and certain jobs require a Level 2 certified employee on site. We are also members of the International Concrete Repair Institute.

What those affiliations mean

The Post-Tensioning Institute is the body that sets the standards for post-tensioned concrete in North America and certifies the people who repair it. Our owner and members of our crew have held that certification for more than 25 years. The International Concrete Repair Institute is the trade body for concrete restoration, and its Rocky Mountain chapter is where the engineers, specifiers and contractors who do this work in Colorado know each other. We are members and we take part.

Certification is worth naming plainly because post-tension repair is one of the few pieces of concrete work where doing it wrong is dangerous rather than just expensive. If somebody tells you they can repair a post-tensioned slab, it is a fair question to ask who trained them.

More on our post-tension work

We do serious things

People tell us we are too serious about this. We do serious things. A parking deck that has been left alone for years is not a cosmetic problem, and a post-tension cable is not something to guess at. Work like that goes wrong quietly, and then it goes wrong all at once.

Everyone here is expected to understand why a repair is detailed the way it is, not only how to install it. We would rather have a crew that thinks than a crew that goes through the motions, and the people coming up in this company are held to the standard it was built on.

“We want craftsmanship and good work. We want to leave that behind more than anything.”
