ORC is a small crew doing work that very few contractors in Colorado are qualified to do. If you want to learn concrete restoration properly, or you already know it and want to do it somewhere the prep is taken seriously, we would like to hear from you.
Email us your resumeThe work
ORC repairs and restores structural concrete: parking garages, stadium decks, hospitals, plazas, and the concrete frames of commercial buildings. This is specialty work rather than flatwork or decorative concrete. On any given job a crew might be cutting out failed concrete and rebuilding it, repairing post-tension cable, wrapping a beam in carbon fiber, injecting epoxy into cracks, rebuilding an expansion joint, or coating a deck overnight while the building sleeps.
Who we hire
The skill set is narrow enough that there is no ready pool of people already trained in it, so we do two things. We hire the few who already have it, and we hire people with adjacent experience and train them into it. If you have run concrete work as a project manager, estimated it, or run a crew as a superintendent, the specialty part is learnable and we will teach it. What is harder to teach is showing up, doing the preparation properly, and caring what the finished work looks like when nobody is watching. As the owner puts it, it is all in the prep.
Certification and training
ORC’s owner and members of our crew have been certified through the Post-Tensioning Institute for more than 25 years, and we are members of the International Concrete Repair Institute. Post-tension repair is a credential that follows you for the rest of your career. If you want to know what the training and certification path looks like here, ask us when you get in touch.
Where you would work
Most of our work is in the Denver metro area and along the Front Range, close enough to sleep at home. Some of it is not: we travel through the mountain west and the midwest for specialty jobs, which is part of why the work stays interesting. If travel is a problem, say so early and we will tell you honestly how much there is.

Our certifications
ORC’s owner and members of our crew have been certified through the Post-Tensioning Institute for more than 25 years, which is longer than ORC has been in business. Members of our crew are certified at Level 1 and Level 2. Level 2 is the higher of the two, and certain jobs require a Level 2 certified employee on site. We are also members of the International Concrete Repair Institute.
